Blotched WatersnakeNerodia erythrogaster transversa

I watched this snake glide towards me over the surface of a pond, then slowly work its way up the bank until it was right next to me. This shot is from directly above looking down. It probably couldn't see me well with its clouded eyes as it was approaching a molt.
